In addition, excessive pollution, stress and eating oily or fried junk food affects our skin badly and are also the most common causes of pimple.

What Causes Pimples?

Our skin consists of several layers such as stratum corneum, epidermis and dermis. The sebaceous glands present in the dermis layer regularly secret natural oils (sebum) that keeps the skin hydrated and moist. However, certain biological changes, illnesses or even environmental changes trigger excess production of oil from the sebaceous gland. In addition accumulation of dead cells, or clogging or skin pores with sebum or even dirt results in pimples. Common causes of pimples as given by skin experts,

  • Excess oil production from skin
  • Hormonal changes
  • Intake of oily or fatty foods
  • Exposure to pollution
  • Skin allergies due to medications
  • Clogging of skin pores

How to Prevent Pimples?
